An Argentine journalist was attacked during a protest against the government of President Cristina Fernández on Thursday, Nov. 8, reported the website Última Hora. Néstor Dib, a television reporter for C5N, was covering the "#8N" casserole demonstration when he was hit from behind, according to the website. Read more »


Newspaper offices shot at in Venezuela

The building housing the newspaper El Regional, in Venezuela, was fired upon in the morning of Thursday, Nov. 1, reported El Universal. The newspaper El Nacional added that the office of PDVSA, the state oil company, was also attacked at the same time. No one was injured. Read more »
